The Next Movement turn up the funk – and the cowbell – with their explosive new EP More Cowbell!

The Next Movement are back – louder, funkier, and bolder than ever. Their new EP More Cowbell is a three-track firework of groove, attitude, and pure musical joy.

It kicks off with “Call Me”, a hi-tempo funk attack where razor-sharp guitar riffs collide with relentless drums and a bassline that refuses to quit. Add TNM’s signature vocoder, and you’ve got a hot funk cocktail that could set any dance floor ablaze.

Next up is “Tear The Roof Off” – born on tour in the Canary Islands, this track fuses electronic energy, rap, R’n’B, and Spanish spice into one irresistible banger. It’s global funk at its best: uplifting, playful, and masterfully performed.

And then there’s “More Cowbell” – the anthem. Turning the legendary SNL line into a full-on funk statement, TNM push the cowbell front and center. What was once a side-kick now steals the show: raw, sweaty, impossible to ignore.

With More Cowbell, The Next Movement prove once again: nobody delivers funk this tight, this fun, and this fresh.

Vergiss alles, was du über Funk zu wissen glaubtest – The Next Movement packen noch eine Schippe drauf. Ihre neue EP „More Cowbell“ ballert drei Tracks raus, die so viel Groove haben, dass man eigentlich einen Warnhinweis draufkleben müsste.

Den Start macht „Call Me“: ein Funk-Raketenstart mit gnadenlosen Gitarrenriffs, treibenden Drums und einem Bass, der einfach nicht locker lässt. Obendrauf gibt’s Vocoder-Vibes, die so heiß klingen, als wären sie direkt aus einem 80s-Clubbeam gelandet.

Mit „Tear The Roof Off“ bringen TNM die Sonne von den Kanaren direkt in die Boxen. Elektro-Energie trifft auf Rap, R’n’B und spanische Würze – ein globaler Funk-Banger, der klingt wie eine Strandparty um 4 Uhr morgens, wenn keiner mehr nach Hause will.

Und dann der Titeltrack „More Cowbell“: aus einem legendären SNL-Gag wird ein gnadenloser Funk-Brecher. Die Cowbell rückt von der Seitenlinie ins Rampenlicht – roh, sweaty und absolut unüberhörbar.
